Zac Posen’s Spring/Summer 2010 collection would not be complete without the perfect coif, and make-up. As you
can see... that’s exactly what we gave them. Just as we did for the Versace show a few
months ago, we’re going to give you detailed step by step insight into how we created the look.
Spring/Summer collections are showing a lot of color, so why not accessorize your hair to coordinate with your ensemble? For Zac
Posen’s show, the hair look
required that we use multi- colored clip-in extensions to really turn out an
avant-garde style. First, we start by lightly misting the hair, we
used Depsea smoothing Foundation spray by shu uemura. By misting the hair we eliminate any fly aways and smooth everything into place. Then we use a paddle brush and hair tie to pull the models hair back into a ponytail. Make sure this is nice and tight so it stays throughout the entire evening.
once secured, separate the ponytail into two sections, and then use a styling cream such as silk mesh by shu uemura to smooth
each section. Next we take our desired shade of colored extensions and wrap it around two sections of natural hair by twisting it.
The two sections are now twisted together, pinned at the nape of the neck and back up around the ponytail, and then pinned making a haute chignon. (Chignon is fancy for a “bun” for those of you who aren’t fluent in hair lingo.)
We finished the style off with an all over spray of Sheer Lacquer to ensure that the look stays shiny and set in place all night.
And last but not least... remember a small bag of jelly beans will keep cranky models eat- ing out of your hand.
These Divos are out!!!!
